For all those who said it was only a straight line racer I think #1 on the TG test track is pretty damn impressive as well.

How fast this one is proves that the original Veyron was just tuned as a GT.
This thing is so out of this world. The engineering is staggering.

This car is unbelievable. I really wonder whats the full untapped potential in this car. Its crazy to think they just had this car dumbed down with the regular model, and with this SS version opened up another 14 mph more to top speed. That is ridiculous at @ 250+ mph.
I would absolutely buy a DVD if someone (like BBC for example) made a proper 1 hour documentary on what went into creating this masterpiece.
Jeremy Clarkson was absolutely right when he called this car a "Concorde of the 21st Century".

there is a show on the natgeo channel called man-made, they did a full 1 hour episode on the history and development of this car, went into great detail too on how the tires/wing/brakes/areodynamics/engine were all created just for this car. Its insane. A must watch for everyone on TCL
